Spring Thing

Whenever a frost warning is issued, moving container plants inside or covering garden tomatoes can save this valuable crop. Covering plants traps heat and can keep the air around the plants several degrees warmer than the ambient temperature.

Secret Spot

Old iron bridge on the Beaver River close to Heathcote.

You have to know where the fish are feeding

FFB (Flyfishingbob) has the magic glasses

Do you want to learn the basics of fly fishing?

Check out Primer and River Therapy on my website.

(Dr. Joe Dispenza, Author  Becoming Supernatural

I think that we're greater than we think, more powerful than we know, more unlimited than we could ever dream…” “Be greater than the conditions in your environment… be greater than the emotional habits and addictions of the body.” “All of the adversity in our life is to initiate us into greatness.

Life Ignition Tools

Use Nature's Playbook to Energize Your Brain, Spark Ideas, and Ignite Action

(Author Jeff Karp)

You do not have to look far to get energized by the beauty of nature.

Just combine a field of canola and storm clouds to give you that daily energy lift we all need.

Kuchen (Kuchen literally means 'cake' in German and many popular versions of kuchen are made topped with fruit and a brown sugar mixture.)

In this case I topped with coconut yogurt to accomodate my dining guest's allergy to milk.

Don't worry I am not going completely healthy on you. I still believe a dessert needs at  a minimum, butter, sugar and whipping cream)
