Journey Through Sobriety and the Power of Running

In this episode of 'What's in Your Toolbox,' host Bobby K., a comedian, mental health advocate, and Tourette's syndrome sufferer, engages in a profound discussion with guest Andy Blackwell about mental health, sobriety, and the transformative power of running. Blackwell shares his personal journey from being advised he'd never run marathons again to completing the 6 Star Abbott World Majors and his battles with sobriety, emphasizing the importance of supportive communities, setting goals, and finding personal tools for coping. The episode highlights the significance of admitting you need help and taking steps toward recovery, illustrated through Blackwell's two and a half years of sobriety and his ongoing commitment to mental and physical health. It ends with an inspiring message about not being alone in the journey through mental health challenges and the announcement of Blackwell joining the board of the No Magic Bullet charity, aiming to support mental health initiatives.
